3/22/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved QMHPA greeted Ms. Broadnax upon arrival to the home. Ms. Broadnax appeared to be in a good mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHPA inquired about her day. She verbalized to QMHPA that she was having a good day and that she needed to be accompanied out into the community to gather some feminine products. Upon arrival, she did not present any symptoms of S/I. QMHPA escorted Ms. Broadnax out into the community for a social outing so that she could gather some personal items for her son. While out in the community, conducting this social outing, QMHPA reminded Ms. Broadnax of the importance of budgeting her finances and purchasing items that were at a low price. QMHPA suggested to Ms. Broadnax that she purchase off brand name items and not those items that were expensive. QMHPA reminded Ms. Broadnax of her body language, tone, and overall behavior while out in the community. QMHPA assisted Ms. Broadnax with being able to purchase several items that were needed for her and within her household with the amount of finances that she had remaining for the month. QMHPA challenged Ms. Broadnax to continue to implement these learned techniques when she is out in the community with others and not just QMHPA. Ms. Broadnax was receptive to QMHPAs’ intervention. She stated to QMHPA that it seems crazy for her to say that but it seems as though she purchases her items every week. Ms. Broadnax indicated to QMHPA that she knows that she has to budget her money because she knows that it is about to get warm and she is going to need to save some money so that she can go shopping as she has mentioned in a previous session.
